Waking up in the middle of the night to a mysterious noise is something that happens all the time, writes ilovemydogsomuch
Maybe it’s a cat outside or perhaps someone else in the house is up for a glass of water. For one woman in Bixby, Oklahoma, things that go bump in the night became all too real.
It wasn’t her dog and it wasn’t a family member rustling around. It was, however, a coyote that was stuck in her bedroom!
The woman told CBS17, “”I woke up and the cat and the coyote came running into my room. It was still dark.”
Her screams woke up the whole family, who thankfully kept the coyote in the bedroom until police arrived. It is believed the wild animal snuck in through the back door of the house. Apparently, the door was not bolted shut, so the coyote lunged at it to open.
The coyote was successfully captured by police with catcher poles, taken outside, and released. No one was hurt, but a lot of nerves were on edge that night. Watch the news report in this unbelievable video below.
