Driving in the evening can be harmful, especially when there are wild animals wandering around.
It is nearly impossible to find one in your path when you’re speeding on the road surface before it’s far too late.
This is an issue in Finland, where an approximated 4,000 reindeer die every year as a result of vehicle mishaps as well as cause around $18 million in damages. So it was time somebody threw down the gauntlet.
A team called the Finnish Reindeer Herders Association was motivated and came up with a solution. Among the simplest yet ingenious stuck out, to spray the animals with reflective paint.
It is essentially like offering the pet a high-visibility coat in the hope that they glow when the light hits them, to make it more probable for a driver to spot them.
” The spray is being examined on hair right now, but it may be even more effective on the horns because they are seen from every side,” claimed Anne Ollila, the chairwoman of the Reindeer Herders Organization.
” [The horns] intrigue generally around the world and was the best campaign until now,” the association claimed. “There are some problems with the toughness as well as energy, yet the item advancement proceeds.”
