Dumped Then Hit By A Train, Puppy Sadly Learns That People Can Be So Cruel

Two sweet puppies in Ohio found themselves in the care of the wrong person, writes ilovemydogsomuch

When the owner decided he no longer wanted the adorable pups, he dumped the three-month-old brothers in a neighborhood park all alone.

The puppies must have been so scared and confused. One of them wandered onto railroad tracks and died, leaving the other behind to fend for himself.

We cannot even fathom what the solo pup experienced, but somehow he managed to survive. When the Butler County Sheriff’s Department found him, the puppy lost an eye, tail, and both rear legs.

While the dog was recovering and receiving veterinary care, police were able to apprehend the responsible person.

A Facebook status revealed, “That owner, a 17 year old juvenile from Hamilton, abandoned him and his sibling earlier that day at a park in Lindenwald.”

They named the dog Trooper, and also shared that he is charged with cruelty and abandoning animals, both misdemeanor charges.

At this time, Trooper is being fostered and was given a doggy wheelchair to get around. Watch the sweet doggo in action at this Butler County Sherrif’s Facebook Live broadcast below.
