Carole Baskin is the CEO of Big Cat Rescue, a non-profit animal sanctuary based in Florida. She is a lead campaigner for the introduction of laws to prevent the private trade and ownership of big cats. She came to prominence following the Netflix true-crime documentary series Tiger King. She also starred in the 2021 Louis Theroux documentary Shooting Joe Exotic.
