Hurricane Nicholas has led to several child pets being burnt out of their nests. On September 14, Houston SPCA’s Wild animals Center of Texas had a record high of 111 animals generated.
It is extremely usual for infant pets to be one of the most in need after a storm. They are usually divided from their mommy and left to weather the tornado in their nest. It might seem like a safe place for the animal, however strong winds can blow the nest away, or create the entire tree to drop.
Child birds and squirrels are several of the most common pets that are in need of saving after a tornado, as they are specifically vulnerable in high trees.
